Nokia announces more Create contest winners; reiterates Mission closure dates

Nokia has again announced winners from its Create contest. Should yous not be familiar with the developer contest, said folk are tasked to create apps for Windows Phone, post-obit certain missions and including desired features - these Mini Missions can be focused on sure features of the operating system or Nokia Lumia handset.

This approach by the company ensures that different types of apps are included in the submissions, with the goal to bring more choice to consumers with high quality apps and filling any holes in the catalogue of content on the Windows Phone Shop. Head on past the pause to cheque out which apps won designated missions.

Just like nosotros covered previously, the announcement lists winners of two Mini Missions - today we're looking at number three and 4.

Mini Mission 3 in the Create contests had developers use the HERE APIs or app launchers to add location functionality to apps. The winning app was Palmipedo FREE, developed by Maurizio Gaj from Italy. It's a neat little tourist guide app, which non but offers mapping, just also includes routing and guidance services. Every bit an added bonus, everything works offline too, perfect for when you're abroad.

Yous can grab Palmipedo Costless from the Windows Telephone Shop.

The winning app was Motorcar Starter, by Rob Irving from the US. Note that while this app doesn't showtime your vehicle, it will enable y'all to quickly access phone functionality hands.

Yous can download Car Starter from the Windows Phone Store.

The official weblog mail so reminds developers that Mini Missions five and half-dozen closed on Fri November 29th, then you're already too belatedly for those. That said, you nevertheless have until Dec 15th earlier the All Matters and Practice Practiced Missions close.
